Description:   Opportunities to participate in energy-related research

Discipline(s):   mathematics; computer science; physical sciences; earth, environmental, and marine sciences; engineering; chemistry, computer science, engineering, environmental sciences, geology, mathematics, physics, statistics

Eligibility:  No Citizenship Requirements. Undergraduate students, post-baccalaureates, graduate students. Foreign national participants must be enrolled in a US institution. Foreign nationals must have a F1 immigration status with CPT or OPT authorization.

Location(s):   Oregon, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. National Energy Technology Laboratory (Morgantown, WV, Albany, OR, and Pittsburgh, PA; http://www.netl.doe.gov

Duration:   Anytime; Fall Term; Winter/Spring Term; Summer Term; three to 24 consecutive months; full-time or part-time appointments

Frequency:  continuing

Awards made:  varies

Deadline(s):  The application is always open but for best results apply by February 15 for summer term, June 1 for fall, October 1 for spring

Benefits:  weekly stipend; limited travel reimbursement; off-campus tuition and fees may be paid
