Eligibility:  U.S. Citizens and Legal Permanent Residents. college or university full-time teaching faculty

Duration:   anytime; 10 to 12 weeks during summer term; some sabbatical appointments 6 to 12 months; some intermittent appointments

Frequency:  continuing

Awards made:  varies

Deadline(s):  application is always open but for best results apply by first Monday in February for summer appointments

Benefits:  monthly stipend based on base academic salary; limited travel reimbursement; participants with sabbatical leave appointments are expected to have at least one-half of their salaries paid by their home institutions
