Description:   Opportunities to participate in ongoing energy research and development

Discipline(s):   mathematics; computer science; physical sciences; engineering; chemistry, chemical engineering, engineering, earth sciences, physical and natural sciences, mathematics

Eligibility:  No Citizenship Requirements. College or university full-time faculty

Location(s):   Oregon, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. National Energy Technology Laboratory (Morgantown, WV, Albany, OR and Pittsburgh, PA); http://www.netl.doe.gov

Duration:   Anytime;Fall Term; Winter/Spring Term; Summer Term; 10 weeks to three months; some sabbatical appointments; full-time or part-time appointments

Frequency:  continuing

Awards made:  varies

Deadline(s):  application is always open, but for best results apply by February 15 for summer appointments; other applications accepted on year-round basis

Benefits:  monthly stipend based on regular salary; limited travel reimbursement; participants with sabbatical leave appointments are expected to have at least one-half of their salaries paid by their home institutions
