Eligibility:  No Citizenship Requirements. Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university; or have received an undergraduate or graduate degree within 5 years of the initial appointment date; or serve as a full-time faculty member at an accredited college or university.

Location(s):   Appointments available at the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research; Center for Devices and Radiological Health; Center for Drug Evaluation and Research; Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition; Center for Veterinary Medicine; Office of the Commissioner

Duration:   Varies from one month to one year with renewal options; up to four years maximum; full-time or part-time appointments

Additional Duration Information:  Faculty appointments generally for three months with some sabbatical appointments up to one year

Frequency:  Continuing

Awards made:  Number varies

Deadline(s):  Applications accepted on year-round basis

Benefits:  Stipend based on research area(s) and educational level; faculty stipend generally based on regular academic salary
