Eligibility:  U.S. Citizens Only. must have completed an undergraduate (BA, BS or equivalent) or graduate (MS, DVM, PhD, MD or equivalent) within the last three years

Location(s):   Connecticut, and New York. Plum Island Animal Disease Center

Duration:   Anytime

Additional Duration Information: one year, renewable

Frequency:  continuous

Awards made:  number varies

Deadline(s):  the application process is open year-round

Benefits:  stipend based on degree, research areas, and experience; limited travel reimbursement

Funding source(s):  U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security through an interagency agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy
