The objective of the EERE Postdoctoral Research Awards is to create the next generation of scientific leaders in energy efficiency and renewable energy by attracting the best scientists and engineers to pursue breakthrough technologies in a highly prestigious postdoctoral research program.

U.S. Citizens and Legal Permanent Residents. Have a Ph.D. for no more than five years from the application deadline.
Various locations across U. S. Locations outside the U.S.
one year appointment, renewable up to a total of two years
The competition is closed but will re-open in early January 2016.
Participants will receive a yearly stipend of $65,000; a stipend supplement for health insurance; relocation expenses, not to exceed $5,000; a research allowance of $10,000 per Fellowship year.
